Type of Establishment Night club; strip club
    Location Pioneer Square, Seattle, Washington
    Opening Hours 11am to 5am, 7 days a week.
Atom is the iconic Victorian two-storey establishment which epitomises the vibrant nightlife in Seattle. The nightclub on the first floor attracts trendy young adults and the occasional tourist looking for a place to dance, to drink, to eat, to socialise and to meet new people into the early hours of the morning.

Up the flight of stairs at the back, now carpeted black, is a soundproof door that opens to a high-end, Gentlemen's Club-esque, cabaret-style strip joint. The spacious, luxurious second floor is also accessible from the stairs on the side of the building.

    Main

    NAME
    Welcome to Atom.

Located in what was once heralded the heart of the city, Atom has the architecture that reflects the age and historical essence permeating through the neighbourhood whilst at the same time embodying Pioneer Square's reputation of being the hub of Seattle's nightlife. Bringing life, lights and boundless energy back to Pioneer Square in the dead of the night, Atom is one of the best places to be on any given evening in Seattle and attracts crowds from all walks of life. 1st Floor

    Design
    NAME
    The bar.

A vintage red wine shade of carpet covers most of the nightclub's floors with the exception of the dance area, which has a polished mahogany finish. Seat yourself at one of the available tables for a meal, hop up onto the bar to get a quick drink or three, and when you’re ready, the dance floor is just a few steps away.

Bathrooms are out at the back by the stairs, and you can always approach one of the friendly staff should you need assistance. [top]

    Events
Martini Tuesdays: all Martinis are $7.50 a glass.

Thursday nights are Electronic Nights; electronic/techno/trance music plays from 9pm to 2am and the lighting in the entire club is dimmed except for the area around the bar while green, red, blue and yellow laser lights sweep across the dance floor.

Guest DJs and musicians feature on Friday and Saturday nights. [top]

    2nd Floor

    Design
    NAME
    The main floor area.

Warm amber lights and black sofas that seem to meld into the carpet set up a cozy scene to make anyone feel at home. A man can drink and relax while girls provide the nightly entertainment. If you're a regular and are on good terms with the owners, and you know what to ask for and how to ask for it, a range of common narcotics to top off the night can be provided upon request. [top]

    Events
Bikini Thursdays: Waitresses will be in bikinis.

Top Hat Fridays: Waitresses go topless on Fridays, with a black top hat to match the black g-strings. [top]

    Backroom

    Design
    NAME
    Need some privacy?

There are ten backrooms in Atom - six rooms on the first floor, four slightly larger rooms on the second. Each room has its own stocked mini-bar and snacks, and has either three or four sofas depending on the room size. Each room also has at least one window behind charcoal velvet curtains, along the back wall of the building, and the fire escape is accessible to all rooms on the second floor through these windows. These rooms are located behind the bars and/or near the kitchens, and there is always someone standing around by the narrow corridor to turn the inquisitive away and keep the unauthorised out.

Only certain clientèle are aware of the existence of these rooms, and they can be used for anything from a business transaction to a quiet, private place to ingest narcotic substances. [top]
